VPS hosting provider Webair starts offering VSYS Virtual Hosting

VPS hosting provider Webair declared that it has started providing its VSYS virtual hosting system, with virtual hosting plans starting at $5.95 a month. The VSYS virtual hosting system is a unique offering, especially in a market which is powered mostly by few brand name virtualization technologies such as Parallels Virtuozzo, VMware and Windows Server Virtualization.

Webair states that its VSYS hosting platform provides security and trustworthiness in a shared hosting environment. Webair achieves this with all apache applications and modules that run as distinct user, minimizing the need for complicated security and per-user or per-site configuration mechanisms.

The Unix-based hosting plans include many features, including 1TB of space and 5TB of bandwidth per month, a web-based ticket support system, unlimited web based and POP3 email accounts, free weekly backups, free Webair proprietary control panel, a unique IP addresses for $2.49 per IP per month, WUSAGE website statistics and unlimited Mysql databases.

The Webair’s VSYS virtual hosting system is intended to be scalable for growth, allowing customers to continuously add storage, bandwidth, additional IP addresses as their business grows.
