VPS hosting provider GeekStorage partners with R1Soft
GeekStorage, a VPS hosting provider, declared that it has partnered with R1Soft to provide Continuous Data Protection (CDP) for their hosted web sites. The company states that every NAS device on the GeekStorage network has been equipped with CDP.
It points out that R1Soft’s CDP server follows up on alterations to a hard drive as they occur that reduces the amount of time it takes for backups to get done to only minutes. Moreover, the application enables webmasters to restore particular files, or tables within a database, with just a click, from multiple restore points each day, week and month.
