MYOB introduces shared hosting services
Small to mid-sized business management products provider MYOB declared that it will begin providing domain registration, email hosting and shared hosting services. After it acquired Australian web hosting provider Ilisys in March, it was expected that MYOB would shift into the software as a services market. However, MYOB looks like to choose to go with the web hosting and domain registration space for now. The company considers this progress as a natural evolution of MYOB’s business.
Web hosting services are priced for $29.95 a month, email hosting services for $14.95 a month and domain registration for $35 for two years.
More than 700,000 businesses and 10,000 accounting practices worldwide have been benefiting from accounting software, payroll software and real-time business management products that MYOB offers. It aims to help businesses improving their online presence and making profit by integrating back office business management systems with small business websites.
