Hostopia, shared and dedicated hosting provider adds Fax-to-Email services

Hostopia, shared and dedicated hosting provider, announced that it had added a private labeled Fax-to-Email service that telecoms and broadband companies can sell to their own small business customers. Fax-to-email services allows users to send or receive fax messages on their computers via email tools. This way, users get rid of fax machines and their expenses

The company avers that Fax-to-email is a highly demanded business service that has an annual growth of over 25 percent according to a study published by Davidson Consulting. The company adds that its wholesale customers such as telecoms and other service providers are willing to offer these services to their SME customers.

Hostopia recommends a price starting at $9.99 per month, which allows for 300 sent or received pages. It adds that the customer can choose the service’s brand and sell as a standalone service or as part of a bundle of services, such as web hosting and business email. Customer can directly pay to the telecom or to a referral model where Hostopia performs the billing and customer support.

Hostopia has been realizing strategic acquisitions in the past few weeks. Last week, it bought Tucows’ hosting customer assets, including approximately 14,000 Domain Direct, NetIdentity and ItsYourDomain customer accounts. In march, it bought Luxomovera’s customer assets, adding another 12,500 small business customers to Hostopia’s unified web services platform.
