Both CirtexHosting and HostV decided to come together to help the victims after the 8.0 magnitude earthquake took place in Sichuan. Shared hosting provider Sitestar declared that it has acquired customer portfolio and other assets of Internet service provider, AdaNet. AdaNet’s customer bas is not specified.
Sitestar, founded in 1999, provides residential, business and wholesale Internet access, web hosting and value-added products and services. This is Sitestar’s fifth acquisition this year. The company purchased the customer bases of USA Telephone, N2 The Net, Dial Assurance and Comcation. AdaNet offers 56K dial-up modem access and 128K service through Multilink/PPP, email and web hosting solutions. Sitestar states that the AdaNet acquisition helps leveraging recently-acquired wholesale dial-up provider Dial Assurance to deliver service and maximize margins.

Namesco, established in 1996, is now the fourth largest shared service provider in the UK. The company is also among the top 50 worldwide. Employing more than 80 professionals, it currently provides service to more than 400,000 domains. Register365 is shared hosting division of Hosting365. It was named the seventh fastest growing technology company in Ireland.
Italian hosting provider Dada acquired Namesco last July. The acquisition of Register365 by Namesco is Dada’s another step to grow in the European market and in the international market as well.

Shared hosting provider SoftLayer declared that it has completed the first level of integration between its API and the Plesk utility. This first level of integration allows Plesk users to access all SoftLayer management tools through a single interface.
The company also declared that it has added rackAID (rackAID.com) to its Preferred Partner Program. RackAID provides managed services and support to businesses using SoftLayer infrastructure. This contains of administration and maintenance of computing clusters using the Plesk control panel.
